Hawthornden Prize

L'Hawthornden Prize è un premio letterario britannico, fondato nel 1919 da Alice Warrender, che ad Hawthornden Castle, in Scozia, era nata nel 1857. Gli autori sono premiati in base alla qualità "letteratura d'immaginazione" che può essere in verso on in prosa. Il premio viene conferito annualmente, ma ci sono stati diversi periodi senza vincitori: nessun premio è stato assegnato negli anni 1945-57, 1959, 1966, 1971–73, e 1984-87.
